Since starting Primary Swim School in 2012 and then more recently switching names (to acknowledge and project our greater role in Grassroots swimming teaching and advanced coaching in Swimming and lifesaving) to Swimmerz Academy in 2019, Martin consistently brings passion and dedication to every class, every day. You and your child will find your place right away in any class taught by Martin. Martin Also manages the Primary School swimming provision based at Turton School and also currently trains and supports our local Lifeguard.population. Martin has been actively involved with the Royal Life Saving Society since 1983 (Age 11)

Grace

Grace quickly moved up through the ranks in Martin's classes at Swimmerz Academy several years ago and then went on to show commitment and effort throughout her training at Horwich ASC (First claim) club and was then invited to join BMSS (Second claim Elite) club.

Grace's energy and enthusiasm, stroke knowledge and commitment to further learning in both teaching and Child psychology shine through with a very able, natural and fun filled teaching style. 

Sam

Ex-Horwich ASC Captain

Loved by students, Teachers and parents alike, Sam teaches with an inspiring, natural ability. Balanced, caring, thoughtful, calm and a hard worker, Sam is also an active swimmer, and a previous Horwich ASC’s Team member/Team Captain. Sam’s also a double world record holder as a member of the 100x50 and 100x25 English Freestyle relay teams. He’s also currently enjoying his Pure Maths Degree Course.
